September 18, 2010 is going to be a BIG day for childcare providers, nannies, babysitters, tutors and teachers not only in Las Vegas but in major cities across America.  Nannies & Housekeepers USA is taking reservations for nannies, tutors, childcare providers, babysitters and teachers to attend a one day event at The Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce located at Townsquare in Las Vegas.   10 AM - 2:30 PM the event includes a lovely lunch.  There will be two workshops one on Newborns and Toddlers and what to expect in the early years. Family Relationships and the role of the nanny, teacher, childcare provider.

July 18, 2009 Begin Again for Moms

Thought for the day:

I hope I do as well for my children as my mother did for me.

Mom's give guidance!  Sometimes we just need to hold on to their every word and keep remembering not only what they said, but also how they said it to us.   I have three sons and they are all very creative.  When my two older boys were both under the age of 3, a dear friend wrote me a letter and said "Lexy, I can see it now CAPP BROS. Inc."   Now they have a little brother and the 3 brothers are full of talent and creativity!  Look out Marx Brothers here come the Capp Brothers!!!  When my boys were toddlers, their grandmother commented on what great jobs they did at coloring.  On developing creativity in children- perhaps some painting- just some splattering of watercolors or crayon lines the way a child loves to do it- is the first step.  Perhaps this will develop a talent!  We need to encourage our children and be available.  They need their mother's affection and guidance and long periods of time alone with her.  That's what gives them security in an often confusing world!

*There is a $17 non- refundable booking fee per day

*There is a $30 non -refundable booking fee when you book After Hours or within the 24 hour start time.

*All Babysitters successfully complete Nannies & Housekeepers USA Training Program

The Babysitter

*will arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled start time to sit down with you and go over any necessary information/guidelines for your household

*wear a Nannies & Housekeepers USA polo shirt

* bring games, books, or other age appropriate activites.

* will provide necessary release forms for needed driving, swimming, medications, or to seek medical attention for your child/children in case of emergency.

* will leave a journal with a review of the day's activites upon your return home.
